मान्धातुस्तु सुत श्श्रीमान् सुसन्धिरुदपद्यत।सुसन्धेरपि पुत्रौ द्वौ ध्रुवसन्धि: प्रसेनजित्।।1.70.26।।
māndhātus tu sutaḥ śrīmān susandhir udapadyata | susandher api putrau dvau dhruvasandhiḥ prasēnajit || 1.70.26 ||
To Māndhātā was born the illustrious son Susandhi; and to Susandhi were born two sons—Dhruvasandhi and Prasēnajit.
Mandhata's son was prosperous Susandhi who brought forth two sons Dhruvasandhi and Prasenajit.
Dharma here is continuity of righteous governance: dynastic succession is presented as an orderly transfer of responsibility, preserved through truthful remembrance (satya).
Janaka continues the royal genealogy, naming successors to establish historical continuity.
Steadfastness and legitimacy in kingship (rājadharma), implied through orderly succession and clear naming.
