“This ram has testicles, but Śakra (Indra) has been made without his. Take the ram’s testicles at once and quickly bestow them upon Śakra.”
'This ram (which has received the share of your sacrificial offerings) has testicles. AsIndra has been deprived of his own take these testicles immediately and graft them on to Indra'.
Dharma here is the maintenance of cosmic and ritual order: a disruption affecting Indra is to be corrected through an authorized ritual remedy, guided by Agni’s directive.
In a sacrificial context, Indra (Śakra) has been deprived of his virility; Agni instructs the assembled beings to transfer the ram’s testicles to restore him.
Agni’s role highlights authoritative discernment and commitment to restoring order—decisive action aligned with ritual propriety.
