Rama too, having duly received the highest honor from the great sage Gautama, then departed from there for Mithilā.

'Hearing Indra, all the devatas accompanied by maruts. Lead by the Fire-god devatas approached and said':

R
Rama
G
Gautama
M
Mithila

Dharma includes honoring the righteous and receiving honor humbly and correctly; Rama’s conduct models maryādā—accepting hospitality as prescribed and proceeding without attachment.

The Ahalya-Gautama episode concludes: Rama receives Gautama’s hospitality and continues the journey onward to Mithila.

Rama’s humility and discipline in dharmic social conduct (proper reception, then purposeful continuation of duty).
