यज्ञीयं च हयं तत्र चरन्तमविदूरत:।ददर्श पुरुषव्याघ्रो दु:खशोकसमन्वित:।।।।
yajñīyaṃ ca hayaṃ tatra carantam avidūrataḥ | dadarśa puruṣavyāghro duḥkhaśokasamanvitaḥ ||
Overwhelmed with grief and sorrow, Anśumān—the tiger among men—saw the sacrificial horse grazing nearby.
Possessed by grief and tears, Anshuman, that tiger among men, beheld the sacrificial horse grazing nearby.
Dharma here is steadfastness in duty even amid sorrow—Anśumān continues the mission connected to the sacrifice and his lineage.
Anśumān, searching after the disappearance of the sacrificial horse and the fate of his elders, finally spots the horse grazing nearby.
Perseverance and courage under grief (śoka) while remaining focused on rightful responsibility.
