Rāma too, along with Saumitri (Lakṣmaṇa), filled with a measure of wonder, praised that tiger-like sage and then took to sleep.
Following her husband my highly generous sister reached heaven with her human body and down assuming the form of a sacred river, flowed Kausiki.
Respect for spiritual teachers is treated as dharma: Rāma models humility and gratitude toward the sage whose guidance protects and instructs.
With Viśvāmitra’s account concluded, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa admire him, praise him, and then retire to sleep.
Vinaya (humility) and guru-bhakti (reverence for the teacher), expressed through praise and attentive admiration.
