The altar blazed in radiant splendor—furnished with kuśa grass, cups and ladles, bundles of kindling and heaps of flowers—together with Viśvāmitra and the officiating priests.
The altar with Viswamitra and the officiating priests, kusa grass, ladles and squarevessels, bundles of sticks and flowers, (used in the sacrificfial fire) got brightened up.
Dharma as right order: the verse highlights the sanctity and proper arrangement of yajña, implying that social and cosmic well-being depend on truthful, correctly performed sacred duties.
The sacrificial scene is described in detail—priests, implements, offerings—while the altar-fire flares, indicating the rite’s potency and auspicious momentum.
Sacred stewardship: Viśvāmitra and the priests embody disciplined guardianship of ritual truth (satya) and dharmic procedure.
