Today, O Rāma, let us go to the unsurpassed Siddhāśrama. O child, regard this hermitage as yours too—just as it is mine.
While enetering the hermitage the great ascetic appeared resplendent (in the company of Rama and Lakshmana) like the moon in conjunction with Punarvasu star emerging out of the mist.
Dharma is hospitality and shared responsibility: a sacred place is treated as a trust, and the disciple is welcomed into that trust.
Viśvāmitra leads Rāma (and Lakṣmaṇa) toward Siddhāśrama and invites Rāma to treat it as his own.
Guru’s generosity and inclusion—guiding the student into duty with affection and confidence.
