ताटकावधः (The Slaying of Tāṭakā)
इहाद्य रजनीं राम वसेम शुभदर्शन।।1.26.33।।श्व: प्रभाते गमिष्यामस्तदाश्रमपदं मम।
ihādya rajanīṃ rāma vasema śubhadarśana |
śvaḥ prabhāte gamiṣyāmas tad āśramapadaṃ mama ||
“Here tonight, O Rāma, fair and auspicious to behold, let us stay; tomorrow at dawn we shall go to the place of my hermitage (āśrama).”
"O auspicious-looking Rama! tonight we shall stay here. Tomorrow morning we proceed to my hermitage".
Dharma includes regulated conduct—rest at the proper time and proceed at dawn—showing disciplined, purposeful action rather than impulsive movement.
Viśvāmitra decides they will camp for the night in the forest and travel to his hermitage the next morning.
