कामाश्रम-प्रवेशः / Entry into Kāma’s Hermitage at the Sarayū–Gaṅgā Confluence
तं दृष्ट्वा परमप्रीतौ राघवौ पुण्यमाश्रमम्।ऊचतुस्तं महात्मानं विश्वामित्रमिदं वच:।।।।
tatra vāsibhir ānītā munibhiḥ suvrataiḥ saha |
nyavasan susukhaṃ tatra kāmāśramapade tadā ||
There, brought in by the residents along with the vow-faithful sages, they then stayed very happily at that place—the hermitage-site of Kāma.
Exceedingly delighted to see the sacred hermitage, the two princes enquired from the illustrious sage Viswamitra:
Dharma appears as hospitality and communal care: residents and sages receive travelers properly, ensuring safe and content lodging.
The party is welcomed by the hermitage community and stays happily at the hermitage-site associated with Kāma.
Guest-care (ātithi-satkāra) and harmony—an āśrama community living by vows and service.
