विश्वामित्रस्य यज्ञरक्षा-याचना (Visvamitra Requests Rama for Yajna-Protection)

सदृशं राजशार्दूल तवैतद्भुवि नान्यथा।महावंशप्रसूतस्य वसिष्ठव्यपदेशिन:।।।।

Transliteration

ity evam uktvā dharmātmā dharmārtha-sahitaṃ vacaḥ |

virarāma mahātejā viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ ||

Translation

Having thus spoken words filled with dharma and right purpose, the great sage Viśvāmitra—radiant in power—fell silent.

"O Tiger among kings! having been born on earth in an illustrious lineage and initiated by Vasishta, this way (of speaking) befits you. It cannot be any other way.
