Shloka 1.18.24

पुत्रजन्मोत्सवः — Birth of the Princes and Viśvāmitra’s Arrival (Bālakāṇḍa 18)

सर्वे वेदविदश्शूरास्सर्वे लोकहिते रता:।।।।सर्वे ज्ञानोपसम्पन्नास्सर्वे समुदिता गुणै:।

sarve vedavidaḥ śūrāḥ sarve lokahite ratāḥ ||

sarve jñānopasampannāḥ sarve samuditā guṇaiḥ ||

All of them became learned in the Vedas; all were heroic; all were devoted to the welfare of the people; all were endowed with knowledge, and all were rich in virtues.

All the sons (of Dasaratha) became well-versed in the Vedas. They were heroic, endowed with knowledge and virtues and were devoted to the welfare of the people.
