Shloka 1.18.13

पुत्रजन्मोत्सवः — Birth of the Princes and Viśvāmitra’s Arrival (Bālakāṇḍa 18)

अथ लक्ष्मणशत्रुघ्नौ सुमित्राऽजनयत्सुतौ।।।।वीरौ सर्वास्त्रकुशलौ विष्णोरर्धसमन्वितौ।

samāptadīkṣāniyamaḥ patnīgaṇasamanvitaḥ |

praviveśa purīṃ rājā sabhṛtyabalavāhanaḥ ||

Having completed the disciplines and observances of the consecration, the king entered the city together with his queens, accompanied by his attendants, troops, and vehicles.

Sumitra gave birth to Lakshmana and Satrughna who were heroic, skilled in the use of all weapons and endowed with the facets of Visnu.
