Create sons who cannot be turned back from their undertaking, who understand the strategic means of success, who possess superhuman constitutions, who are accomplished in every quality related to weapons—both in deploying and resisting them—and who resemble immortals as though they had drunk amṛta.
Incarnate as monkeys in the womb of chiefs of apsarasas and gandharvas. Create sons who have the knowledge of deceitful tricks, who are brave, who match wind in speed, who are endowed with intellect and statecraft, who are determined, who are knowledgeable in various means of achieving victory, who are supernatural bodies, who possess capability of employing and resisting weapons, who resemble those who subsist on amrita (immortals) and are equal (to Visnu) in prowess.
Dharma here is the disciplined empowerment of righteous support: strength and strategy are to be cultivated so that the forces aiding Rāma’s cause can uphold cosmic order and resist adharma without wavering.
Brahmā instructs the gods/celestials to generate powerful vānara-like sons who will become decisive allies in the forthcoming struggle against Rāvaṇa.
Steadfast resolve (asaṃhāryatā) joined with intelligent strategy (upāya-jñāna): unwavering commitment guided by wise means.
