Shloka 1.17.34

सप्तदशः सर्गः — देवसंवादः तथा वानर-ऋक्ष-उत्पत्तिः (Divine Council and the Generation of Vanara Allies)

तैरियं पृथिवी शूरैस्सपर्वतवनार्णवा।कीर्णा विविधसंस्थानैर्नानाव्यञ्जनलक्षणै:।।।।

tair iyaṃ pṛthivī śūraiḥ saparvatavanārṇavā | kīrṇā vividhasaṃsthānaiḥ nānāvyañjanalakṣaṇaiḥ ||

By those valiant beings—of many builds and diverse distinguishing marks—this earth, with its mountains, forests, and seas, came to be filled.

Born in many forms wih various characteristics (relating to the body and tribe), they pervaded this earth with its mountains, forests and seas.

Dharma is supported by many kinds of contributors: the verse normalizes diversity of form and function in service of a single righteous end.

The monkey hosts proliferate and spread across the whole world—mountains, forests, and seas—indicating the scale of preparations for Rāma’s work.

Collective strength: virtue is shown as coordinated abundance rather than solitary heroism.
