सप्तदशः सर्गः — देवसंवादः तथा वानर-ऋक्ष-उत्पत्तिः (Divine Council and the Generation of Vanara Allies)

वरुणो जनयामास सुषेणं वानरर्षभम्।शरभं जनयामास पर्जन्यस्तु महाबलम्।।।।

Transliteration

varuṇo janayāmāsa suṣeṇaṃ vānararṣabham | śarabhaṃ janayāmāsa parjanyas tu mahābalam ||

Translation

Varuṇa begot Suṣeṇa, a bull among the Vānaras; and Parjanya begot Śarabha, possessed of great strength.
