पायसप्रादुर्भावः — The Manifestation of the Divine Payasa and the Avatara Resolution
एवं पितामहात्तस्माद्वरं प्राप्य स दर्पित:।।।।उत्सादयति लोकान्त्रीन् स्त्रियश्चाप्यपकर्षति ।तस्मात्तस्य वधो दृष्टो मानुषेभ्य: परन्तप।।।।
tatas tu tāḥ prāśya tad uttamā-striyo mahīpater uttama-pāyasaṁ pṛthak | hutāśanāditya-samāna-tejaso ’cireṇa garbhān pratipedirē tadā ||
Then those noble consorts, each consuming her portion of the king’s finest payasa, soon conceived—radiant in splendor like fire and the sun.
Having obtained the boon from Brahma, Ravana, greed and arrogant went on bringing destruction to the three worlds. He carried away women by violence. O destroyer of foes! his death is possible by men only."
Fertility and kingship are presented as outcomes aligned with dhārmic order—ritual undertaken for responsibility (heirs and protection of subjects), not mere indulgence.
The queens eat the consecrated payasa and soon become pregnant, signaling the fulfillment of the sacrificial rite.
Auspiciousness and embodied purity—radiance symbolizes the sanctity of the forthcoming births and their world-restoring purpose.
