Indra’s portion was duly offered, and the faultless Soma was pressed; then, in the proper order of the rite, the midday savana proceeded.
Havis was duly offered to Indra daily. The juice was extracted in the morning by pressing the soma plant. Mid-day ablutions were performed. All in proper sequence.
Dharma is orderliness (yathākramam): offering each deity their due and following sequence reflects truthfulness to tradition and steadiness in sacred obligations.
The narration lists key yajña steps—Indra’s offering, Soma pressing, and the transition to the midday savana—emphasizing proper sequence.
Meticulousness and reverence for sacred order shown by the officiants conducting the rite.
