Then those foremost brāhmaṇas, having made an equitable distribution, all—highly satisfied at heart—replied with great delight.

Then those highly pleased brahmins, having distributed that wealth with equity, again said to the king.

B
Brāhmaṇas (dvijottamāḥ)

Fairness (nyāya) in distribution: sacred gifts and shares are to be apportioned equitably, reflecting dharmic administration and ritual propriety.

After the sacrifice-related giving, the brāhmaṇas complete an equitable division of what was received and respond joyfully to the king’s actions.

Ritual integrity and fairness—shown through the brāhmaṇas’ just distribution and their satisfied, harmonious response.
