While I dwell in the forest for my brother’s sake, Śatrughna too will live there, following after me; and the noble one will govern and protect Ayodhyā together with Lakṣmaṇa.
As I live in the forest on behalf of my brother Rama, Satrughna will live with me. My esteemed brother Rama will rule Ayodhya along with Lakshmana.
Shared duty within the royal family: personal sacrifice and orderly governance are coordinated so the kingdom and truth of succession remain protected.
Plans are articulated about who will accompany whom and how Ayodhyā will be protected/ruled during the exile crisis.
Cooperative responsibility—placing dharma above personal preference through coordinated roles.
