भरतस्य धर्मप्रतिज्ञा तथा रामनिवर्तनयात्रा (Bharata’s Vow of Dharma and the Expedition to Recall Rama)
भरतस्य तु तस्याज्ञां प्रतिगृह्य च हर्षितः।रथं गृहीत्वा प्रययौ युक्तं परमवाजिभिः।।।।
bharatasya tu tasyājñāṁ pratigṛhya ca harṣitaḥ |
rathaṁ gṛhītvā prayayau yuktaṁ parama-vājibhiḥ ||
Receiving Bharata’s command with delight, Sumantra took the chariot, yoked with excellent horses, and set out.
He (Sumantra) received the command of Bharata in great delight and set out with a chariot harnessed with excellent horses.
Dharma as prompt execution of duty: a trusted servant responds with readiness and care, ensuring the mission proceeds without hindrance.
Sumantra accepts Bharata’s order and departs with a well-prepared chariot drawn by excellent horses.
