भरतस्य धर्मप्रतिज्ञा तथा रामनिवर्तनयात्रा (Bharata’s Vow of Dharma and the Expedition to Recall Rama)

Seeing the army ready, Bharata, in the presence of the revered preceptor, said to Sumantra at his side: “Make my chariot ready at once.”

When Bharata saw that the army was ready, he instructed Sumantra who was standing by the side of the preceptor to quickly prepare his chariot.

Dharma includes reverence and restraint before elders/teachers: Bharata acts decisively yet within the decorum of the guru’s presence.

With the army prepared, Bharata instructs Sumantra to ready his personal chariot for departure.

Bharata’s disciplined urgency combined with respect for authority and tradition.
