भरद्वाजाश्रमप्राप्तिः — Arrival at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage and Counsel toward Citrakūṭa

रामस्त्वाश्रममासाद्य त्रासयन्मृगपक्षिणः।गत्वा मुहूर्तमध्वानं भरद्वाजमुपागमत्।।।।

rāmas tv āśramam āsādya trāsayan mṛga-pakṣiṇaḥ |

gatvā muhūrtam adhvānaṃ bharadvājam upāgamat ||

Rāma approached the hermitage, startling the deer and birds; after going a short distance along the path, he reached Bharadvāja.

Seeing Rama approaching the hermitage the deer and the birds were frightened. Proceeding on the path, for a while Rama reached (the place of) Bharadwaja.

It highlights disciplined movement in the forest-āśrama setting: even a righteous traveler’s presence affects living beings, reminding one to proceed with restraint and awareness (ahiṃsā-oriented sensitivity).

Rāma reaches the vicinity of an ascetic hermitage and soon arrives at sage Bharadvāja’s place.

Rāma’s purposeful, self-controlled progress in exile—moving forward without delay while respecting sacred spaces.
