भरद्वाजाश्रमप्राप्तिः — Arrival at Bharadvāja’s Hermitage and Counsel toward Citrakūṭa
धन्विनौ तौ सुखं गत्वा लम्बमाने दिवाकरे।गङ्गायमुनयोस्सन्धौ प्रापतुर्निलयं मुनेः।।।।
dhanvinau tau sukhaṃ gatvā lambamāne divākare |
gaṅgā-yamunayos sandhau prāpatur nilayaṃ muneḥ ||2.54.8||
The two bowmen proceeded at ease, and as the sun was sinking, they reached the sage’s dwelling at the confluence of the Ganga and Yamuna.
The two archers (Rama and Lakshmana) reached comfortably (walking at an easy pace) by evening the hermitage of sage Bharadwaja near the confluence of Ganga and Yamuna.
Dharma is guidance-seeking: in crisis, Rama approaches a sage at a sacred confluence, showing that righteous action is supported by counsel and alignment with sacred spaces.
