O Blessed One, O sage steadfast in truth: we have spent the night here in your hermitage. Please grant us leave to depart for the dwelling-place you have indicated.

O venerable sage devoted to truth, we have spent the night in your hermitage. Please permit us to depart for the dwelling-place (suggested by you).

Rāma

Bharadvāja

Respectful speech and gratitude: dharma requires acknowledging kindness received and seeking permission before departing from a host/elder.

After staying the night, Rāma formally asks Bharadvāja for leave to continue to the next residence for the exile period.

Satya-linked humility—Rāma addresses the sage as satyaśīla and conducts himself with transparent courtesy.
