“O best of men, go and approach Sugriva, lord of the vanaras.” Thus Rama spoke these words again to Lakshmana, whose valor is grounded in truth.
Rama said to Lakshmana, the best of men, who had truth as his strength, Go to Sugriva, lord of the monkeys.
The epithet 'Satyavikramam' means 'one whose valour is truth.' It highlights that Lakshmana's immense strength and heroism are rooted in his unwavering commitment to Satya (Truth) and Dharma (Righteousness).
This instruction marks a critical turning point in the epic, shifting the narrative from the brothers' wandering in the forest to the formation of the strategic alliance with the Vanaras, which is essential for the search for Sita and the battle against Ravana.
