अयोमुखी-दर्शनम् तथा कबन्ध-प्रवेशः (Ayomukhi Encounter and the ظهور of Kabandha)
स्पन्दते च दृढं बाहुरुद्विग्नमिव मे मनः।प्रायशश्चाप्यनिष्टानि निमित्तान्युपलक्षये।।।।
spandate ca dṛḍhaṃ bāhur udvignam iva me manaḥ | prāyaśaś cāpy aniṣṭāni nimittāny upalakṣaye ||
My arm throbs hard, and my mind feels as though unsettled; again and again I perceive inauspicious omens, as if foretelling harm.
My arm is throbbing heavily. My mind is agitated. The omens I see foretell some undesirable events.
Dharma here is vigilance and responsible foresight: noticing warning signs and preparing to protect what is right, rather than acting carelessly.
During the forest search for Sītā, Lakṣmaṇa senses danger through bodily signs and perceived inauspicious omens.
