O son of Daśaratha, by you our task has been accomplished; now the great sages in Daṇḍaka will practice dharma in peace and happiness.
O son of Dasaratha, you have accomplished such a task that hereafter the sages inDandaka will discharge their rightful duties happily.
Dharma includes safeguarding spaces where spiritual discipline (tapas) can be pursued. Just governance/protection enables truthful and righteous living.
After the rākṣasa forces are destroyed, the sages thank Rāma and state the benefit: the forest hermitages can function without fear.
Karunā and responsibility: Rāma’s protective role serves the well-being of the sages and the continuity of dharmic practice.
