Shloka 3.24.27

उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च (Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army)

ततो गम्भीरनिर्ह्रादं घोरवर्मायुधध्वजम्।अनीकं यातुधानानां समन्तात्प्रत्यदृश्यत।।।।

rūpam apratimaṃ tasya rāmasyākliṣṭakarmaṇaḥ |

babhūva rūpaṃ kruddhasya rudrasyeva pinākinaḥ ||

That incomparable form of Rāma—unwearied in action—now appeared like the form of wrathful Rudra, the wielder of the Pināka bow.

Then appeared on all sides the well-equipped army of demons raising deep sounds with dreadful shields, weapons and banners.

Dharma includes righteous severity: when protection of innocents is required, controlled wrath becomes a legitimate instrument against adharma.

As battle nears, Rāma’s demeanor transforms into a fierce, divine-like aspect likened to Rudra.

Indefatigable resolve (akliṣṭa-karmatā) and disciplined power—strength that rises to meet injustice.
