उत्पातदर्शनं खरसैन्यसमागमश्च (Omens of calamity and the approach of Khara’s army)
रूपमप्रतिमं तस्य रामस्याक्लिष्टकर्मणः।बभूव रूपं क्रुद्धस्य रुद्रस्येव पिनाकिनः।।।।
āviṣṭaṃ tejasā rāmaṃ saṅgrāmaśirasi sthitam |
dṛṣṭvā sarvāṇi bhūtāni bhayād vivyathire tadā ||
Then, seeing Rāma stationed at the forefront of battle, possessed of blazing splendor, all beings trembled in fear.
Rama, who is unwearied in action and who is of an incomparable (lovely) form, looked ferocious like the wielder of Pinaka (Lord Siva).
Dharma’s power is depicted as tejas—moral and spiritual authority that can overawe even before weapons are used.
Rāma takes his stand at the battlefront; his presence radiates such intensity that surrounding beings are shaken.
Rāma’s heroic majesty and fearlessness—strength aligned with righteous purpose.
