अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम् (Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons)
अभिवाद्य तु धर्मात्मा तस्थौ रामः कृताञ्जलिः।सीतया सह वैदेह्या तदा रामः सलक्ष्मणः।।।।
abhivādya tu dharmātmā tasthau rāmaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ |
sītayā saha vaidehyā tadā rāmaḥ salakṣmaṇaḥ ||
After offering salutations, righteous-souled Rāma stood with hands folded in añjali—together with Sītā of Videha, and with Lakṣmaṇa.
Then righteous Rama with Sita, the princess of Videha, and Lakshmana offered respects with folded palms-standing.
Dharma is shown as maryādā (proper conduct): respectful posture, folded hands, and formal greeting toward a revered guest/elder.
Rāma, Sītā, and Lakṣmaṇa complete their respectful salutation and stand reverently before Agastya.
Rāma’s self-restraint and exemplary courtesy.
