अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम् (Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons)
प्रविवेश ततो रामस्सीतया सहलक्ष्मणः।।।।प्रशान्तहरिणाकीर्णमाश्रमं ह्यवलोकयन्।
taṃ śiṣyaḥ praśrito vākyam agastyavacanaṃ bruvan |
prāveśayad yathānyāyaṃ satkārārhaṃ susatkṛtam ||
Speaking Agastya’s message with humility, the disciple ushered him in according to proper custom, honoring him well—him who was worthy of such hospitality.
Then Rama, Sita and Lakshmana entered the hermitage, watching herds of quietly moving deer (undisturbed by their entry).
Atithi-dharma guided by nyāya (proper procedure): hospitality is not merely emotion but a disciplined, respectful practice.
The disciple conveys Agastya’s invitation and formally escorts Rāma inside with fitting honors.
The disciple’s humility and careful adherence to correct conduct while serving both guest and guru.
