अगस्त्याश्रमप्रवेशः तथा दिव्यायुधप्रदानम् (Entry into Agastya’s Hermitage and the Gift of Divine Weapons)
एवमुक्तस्तु मुनिना धर्मज्ञेन महात्मना।। ।।अभिवाद्याब्रवीच्छिष्यस्तथेति नियताञ्जलिः।
gamyatāṃ satkṛto rāmaḥ sabhāryaḥ sahalakṣmaṇaḥ |
pravēśyatāṃ samīpaṃ me kiṃ cāsau na pravēśitaḥ ||
Go at once; receive Rāma with due honor—along with his wife and with Lakṣmaṇa—and usher him into my presence. Why has he not been brought in until now?
'So be it !' said the disciple respectfully with folded palms in response to what thegreat sage, knower of dharma, commanded.
Atithi-dharma (righteous hospitality): a guest—especially a virtuous one—should be promptly welcomed, honored, and brought respectfully to the host.
Agastya learns that Rāma has arrived and orders his disciple to welcome and escort Rāma, Sītā, and Lakṣmaṇa into his presence without delay.
Agastya’s adherence to dharma through prompt, respectful hospitality and proper ritual-social conduct (maryādā).
