Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
ततस्ते वध्यमानास्तु काव्यमेवाभिदुद्रुवुः ततः काव्यस्तु तान्दृष्ट्वा तूर्णं देवैर् अभिद्रुतान् //
tataste vadhyamānāstu kāvyamevābhidudruvuḥ tataḥ kāvyastu tāndṛṣṭvā tūrṇaṃ devair abhidrutān //
Then, as they were being slain, they ran straight to Kāvya (Śukra). And Kāvya, seeing them swiftly chased down by the gods, responded at once.
This verse does not describe Pralaya; it depicts a battle episode where the threatened group seeks refuge with Kāvya (Śukra) while being pursued by the Devas.
Indirectly, it illustrates the dharmic strategy of seeking competent protection and counsel in crisis—turning to a qualified preceptor (ācārya) when overwhelmed by hostile forces.
No explicit Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated; the focus is narrative movement—flight to Śukra and the urgency of divine pursuit.
