Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
उपसङ्गस्य तु सुतौ वज्रः संक्षिप्त एव च भूरीन्द्रसेनो भूरिश्च गवेषणसुताव् उभौ //
upasaṅgasya tu sutau vajraḥ saṃkṣipta eva ca bhūrīndraseno bhūriśca gaveṣaṇasutāv ubhau //
Now, Upasaṅga had two sons—Vajra and Saṃkṣipta. Likewise, Bhūrīndrasena and Bhūri were both sons of Gaveṣaṇa.
This verse does not address Pralaya; it is a genealogical record listing descendants within a royal lineage.
Indirectly, it supports the Purāṇic ideal of dynastic continuity—preserving lineage memory, succession, and social order (rājadharma) through accurate transmission of ancestry.
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is stated in this verse; it functions purely as a lineage (vamsha) enumeration.
