Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
कृतार्थमागतं दृष्ट्वा काव्यं सर्वे दितेः सुताः अभिजग्मुर्गृहं तस्य मुदितास्ते दिदृक्षवः //
kṛtārthamāgataṃ dṛṣṭvā kāvyaṃ sarve diteḥ sutāḥ abhijagmurgṛhaṃ tasya muditāste didṛkṣavaḥ //
Seeing Kāvya (Śukra) return with his purpose fulfilled, all the sons of Diti went to his house—joyful and eager to see him.
This verse does not address Pralaya; it narrates a social moment in an Asura-lineage episode where the Daityas gather to meet Śukra after he has successfully completed his aim.
Indirectly, it reflects the dharmic value of honoring teachers and elders: the Daityas promptly visit their preceptor’s home, showing respect and loyalty—an ethic also expected of householders and rulers toward their gurus and counselors.
No Vāstu or ritual procedure is specified; the only concrete detail is the guru’s “house” (gṛha), indicating a customary visit to the teacher’s residence rather than a temple-building or rite-focused passage.
