Matsya Purana — Yadu Lineage
रुक्मिणी जनयामास पुत्रान्रणविशारदान् चारुदेष्णं रणे शूरं प्रद्युम्नं च महाबलम् //
rukmiṇī janayāmāsa putrānraṇaviśāradān cārudeṣṇaṃ raṇe śūraṃ pradyumnaṃ ca mahābalam //
Rukmiṇī gave birth to sons who were skilled in battle—Cārudeṣṇa, a hero in war, and Pradyumna, possessed of great strength.
This verse does not address pralaya; it is a genealogical notice highlighting Rukmiṇī’s sons and their martial excellence.
By praising ‘raṇa-viśārada’ (battle-skilled) sons, the verse reflects the Kṣatriya ideal upheld in Purāṇic ethics—training in valor and protection as a royal duty within household life and dynasty.
No Vāstu, temple-architecture, or ritual procedure is mentioned; the verse is focused on lineage and heroic attributes.
