Matsya Purana — The Legend of Acchodā: Pitṛloka
सर्वे युवानो बलिनः कुसुमायुधसंनिभाः तन्मध्ये ऽमावसुं नाम पितरं वीक्ष्य साङ्गना //
sarve yuvāno balinaḥ kusumāyudhasaṃnibhāḥ tanmadhye 'māvasuṃ nāma pitaraṃ vīkṣya sāṅganā //
All of them were youthful and strong, radiant like Kāma, the Flower-weaponed one. In their midst, the womenfolk, seeing their father named Āmāvasu, looked on.
This verse does not discuss Pralaya; it is a courtly-genealogical description highlighting youthful strength and beauty within a royal household scene.
Indirectly, it reflects the householder-kingly sphere: the presence of heirs (youthful, strong sons) and the family’s cohesion around the father, a common Purāṇic marker of orderly lineage and social stability.
No Vāstu or ritual procedure is stated in this verse; its focus is descriptive (youth, strength, beauty) within a narrative setting.
