This teaching/recitation removes all impurity and sin from people; among human beings it ever becomes a lifelong support. Even in later births one does not suffer the grief of separation from one’s sons, and one attains a blessed abode, enjoyed in the world of Purandara (Indra).
This verse is not about pralaya; it is a phala-śruti promising purification from sin and auspicious post-death attainment for those connected with this recitation/teaching.
It frames Purāṇic listening/recitation as a lifelong support for humans—an accessible dharmic practice for householders (and rulers) that purifies karma and is said to protect familial well-being, such as freedom from the sorrow of separation from children.
No Vāstu or iconographic rule is stated here; the ritual takeaway is the efficacy of Purāṇic recitation/hearing as a sin-removing, merit-producing practice leading to heavenly attainment.
