Matsya Purana — The Ārdrānandakarī Tṛtīyā Vrata: Ritual Procedure
सर्वत्र शुक्लपुष्पाणि प्रशस्तानि सदार्चने दानकाले च सर्वत्र मन्त्रमेतमुदीरयेत् //
sarvatra śuklapuṣpāṇi praśastāni sadārcane dānakāle ca sarvatra mantrametamudīrayet //
Everywhere, white flowers are commended for regular worship; and at the time of giving gifts as well, one should in all cases recite this very mantra.
This verse is not about Pralaya; it focuses on ritual correctness—approved offerings (white flowers) and mantra-recitation during worship and charity.
It reinforces everyday dharma: a householder (and a king as the model patron) should perform worship consistently and give charity with proper sacred recitation, making both acts disciplined and meritorious.
Ritually, it standardizes auspicious offerings—white flowers are preferred for arcana—and instructs that the relevant mantra should be recited especially during dāna, aligning offering, speech, and intention in temple or household rites.
