Show favor to us who are devoted to you; grant us your highest assistance—for that sacred learning (vidyā) abides in the Brāhmaṇa of immeasurable splendor.
This verse does not describe pralaya directly; it emphasizes that divine aid is sought through devotion and is associated with vidyā dwelling in a radiant Brāhmaṇa—an ethical-spiritual foundation that supports right conduct even in cosmic crises.
It underscores a key Matsya Purana ethic: rulers and householders should honor devoted supplicants and especially support learned Brāhmaṇas, recognizing that vidyā (sacred knowledge) is the basis for righteous governance and disciplined household life.
No direct Vāstu or iconographic rule appears here; ritually, the takeaway is reverence for vidyā-bearing Brāhmaṇas—implying that correct rites and temple practices depend on properly transmitted sacred knowledge.
