Matsya Purana — Genealogy from Budha to Purūravas and Yayāti; Raji’s war episode; the Paurava...
देवासुरमनुष्याणाम् अभूत्स विजयी तदा अथ देवासुरं युद्धम् अभूद् वर्षशतत्रयम् //
devāsuramanuṣyāṇām abhūtsa vijayī tadā atha devāsuraṃ yuddham abhūd varṣaśatatrayam //
Then he became the victorious one among the Devas, the Asuras, and humankind. Thereafter, the war between the Devas and the Asuras continued for three hundred years.
This verse does not describe Pralaya directly; it highlights long cosmic time-scales and recurring Deva–Asura conflict that typically frame Manvantara-era events rather than dissolution.
Indirectly, it presents victory and prolonged conflict as part of the world’s moral and political texture; in the Purāṇic ethic, rulers and householders are expected to uphold dharma and social order even amid extended turmoil.
None is stated in this verse; it is a historical-cosmic narrative line, not a Vāstu or ritual instruction.
