Matsya Purana — Dynastic Genealogies: Paurava–Anu Lines
अदृश्यः सर्वभूतानां कालापेक्षः स वै प्रभुः तत्राङ्गस्य तु दायादो राजासीद्दधिवाहनः //
adṛśyaḥ sarvabhūtānāṃ kālāpekṣaḥ sa vai prabhuḥ tatrāṅgasya tu dāyādo rājāsīddadhivāhanaḥ //
Invisible to all beings, that Lord acted in accordance with time. Thereafter, as Aṅga’s heir, the king named Dadhivāhana ruled.
It does not describe Pralaya directly; it highlights the Purāṇic principle that the Lord’s governance operates through Kāla (Time), under which historical succession unfolds.
By emphasizing rightful succession (dāyāda) and orderly rule, it supports the Rajadharma ideal that kingship should proceed through legitimate inheritance and stable governance aligned with cosmic order (kāla).
No Vāstu, temple-building, or ritual procedure is specified in this verse; its focus is genealogical succession and the theological framing of history under Kāla.
