Matsya Purana — Division of Bhārata-varṣa
जम्बूफलरसं पीत्वा न जरा बाधते ऽपि तान् न क्षुधा न क्लमो वापि न दुःखं च तथाविधम् //
jambūphalarasaṃ pītvā na jarā bādhate 'pi tān na kṣudhā na klamo vāpi na duḥkhaṃ ca tathāvidham //
Having drunk the juice of the jambū fruit, even old age does not afflict them; nor do hunger, fatigue, or any such suffering trouble them.
This verse does not describe Pralaya directly; it highlights an idealized cosmographic realm where a divine substance (jambu-fruit juice) removes ordinary decay and suffering.
Indirectly, it sets a contrast with human life: kings and householders must manage hunger, fatigue, and aging through dharma and right living, whereas this realm is portrayed as naturally free from such afflictions.
No Vāstu or ritual procedure is specified; the verse is primarily cosmographic and describes the extraordinary effects of a sacred fruit’s essence.
