Educational Q&A

Even amid conflict and fear, dharmic conduct includes restoring order and showing practical compassion—here, prioritizing the welfare of the horses (watering and bathing them) before continuing the journey.

After the turmoil, the group regains composure and plans to head to Virāṭa’s city in the late afternoon, first tending to the horses by giving them water and washing them, while the surrounding context depicts people exhausted and mentally shaken in a foreign place.
