तस्य शड्खस्य शब्देन रथनेमिस्वनेन च । गाण्डीवस्य च घोषेण पृथिवी समकम्पत,उस शंखके शब्दसे, रथनेमियोंकी घर्घराहटसे तथा गाण्डीव धनुषकी टंकारसे धरती काँप उठी

Transliteration

tasya śaṅkhasya śabdena rathanemisvanena ca | gāṇḍīvasya ca ghoṣeṇa pṛthivī samakampata ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: At the blast of his conch, the rumbling of the chariot-wheels, and the resounding twang of the Gāṇḍīva bow, the very earth seemed to tremble—an omen-like proclamation of irresistible martial resolve and the moral force of a righteous champion entering action.
