Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca — “ahaṃ iha vijayāśayā samāgatān sarvān kauravān parājitya teṣāṃ gāvaḥ punar ādāya kṣipram eva punar āgamiṣyāmi puram.”

Translation

Vaiśampāyana said: “With the hope of victory, I shall defeat all the Kauravas who have gathered here, recover my cattle from them, and then return swiftly to my city.”
