Agastya’s Encounter with Ilvala and Vātāpi; Dāna, Progeny, and the Renown of Agastya-Āśrama

तं॑ तथा दु:खितं दृष्टवा सभार्य पृथिवीपतिम्‌ । लोपामुद्राभिगम्येदं काले वचनमब्रवीत्‌,रानीसहित महाराजको इस प्रकार दुःखी देख लोपामुद्रा उनके पास गयी और समयके अनुसार इस प्रकार बोली--

taṁ tathā duḥkhitaṁ dṛṣṭvā sa-bhāryaṁ pṛthivīpatim | lopāmudrābhigamyedaṁ kāle vacanam abravīt ||

Seeing the lord of the earth thus distressed, together with his queen, Lopāmudrā approached him and, choosing the proper moment, spoke these fitting words.
