Shloka 46

नलस्य बाहुकत्वेन ऋतुपर्णनगरप्रवेशः

Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city

ब्रह्मण्य: साधुवृत्तश्न सत्यवागनसूयक: । शीलवान्‌ वीर्यसम्पन्न: पृथुश्रीर्धर्मविच्छुचि:,'वे ब्राह्मणभक्त, सदाचारी, सत्यवादी, किसीके दोषको न देखनेवाले, शीलवान्‌, पराक्रमी, प्रचुर सम्पत्तिके स्वामी, धर्मज्ञ तथा पवित्र हैं

brahmaṇyaḥ sādhuvṛttaś ca satyavāg anasūyakaḥ | śīlavān vīryasampannaḥ pṛthuśrīr dharmavic chuciḥ ||

He is devoted to Brahmins and to sacred duty, of upright conduct, truthful in speech, and free from fault-finding. He is well-mannered and self-controlled, endowed with valor, possessed of broad prosperity, discerning in matters of dharma, and inwardly pure.
