tvayā pṛṣṭaḥ kim aham anyad vadeyam etat kṛtvā kṛtakṛtyo 'si rājan kururāja
Since you have asked me, what else can I say beyond this? O King, O lord of the Kurus—if you act in this way, you will have fulfilled your duty and achieved your purpose.
विदुर उवाच
A ruler who sincerely seeks counsel should act on sound ethical advice; doing so makes him kṛtakṛtya—one who has fulfilled what duty requires.
Vidura responds to a king of the Kuru line who has asked for guidance, emphasizing that the counsel already given is sufficient and that following it will complete the king’s obligation.
