Vaiśampāyana said: Endowed with great resolve, he reached that sacred mountain in a single day. Having become swift as the mind through the discipline of yoga, he moved like the wind—unhindered and purposeful—showing how inner mastery can turn intention into effective action.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that yogic discipline (yogayukta) and a great, steady mind (mahāmanāḥ) can remove inner obstacles, making one’s actions swift, efficient, and aligned with purpose—symbolized by movement as fast as thought and as unobstructed as wind.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that Arjuna, empowered by yoga and strong resolve, travels with extraordinary speed and reaches a sacred mountain within a single day.
